Tilting Test Bench for Electric Drive Axles and Gearboxes
For realistic testing of electric axles and gearboxes, HAGE realized massive tilting test benches that can simulate different driving situations and load conditions before road use.
With dimensions of approx. 13 x 6 x 4 m and a total weight of around 100 t per test bench, the systems are designed for high dynamic loads.
A key technical focus is the simultaneous operation of load machines and tilting frames. The test benches can be tilted in two planes during full dyno operation, enabling practical dynamic testing. Four large air springs provide vibration-isolated mounting within the concrete building and ensure precise measurement results even under maximum load.
